As a leading sourcing agent in Indonesia for a prominent importer and distributor of Food & Beverage in the United States of America, we pride ourselves on providing reliable and sustainable sourcing solutions for our clients.

Our Founder and CEO has extensive experience in the trade sector, having previously worked for the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia for over 13 years, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our company. She holds a Master’s degree in International Political Economy and Development (IPED) from The Institute of Social Sciences (ISS), The Hague, The Netherlands. She currently volunteers as a Coach for Local Business Export Coaching Program, a program initiated by Center of the Promotion – of Imports (CBI) The Netherlands and the Government of The Republic of Indonesia to support capacity building of Indonesian exporters.

Our journey began in 2017 when our Founder & CEO was working as one of the Indonesia Trade Representatives in Los Angeles, USA, promoting Indonesia products to the global market. As Indonesia is the origin of essential food ingredients in the world, we have a wealth of high-quality food and beverage producers. However, it can be challenging to find reliable and sustainable sourcing for these products.

Therefore, SIMARITO was founded in 2021 to connect local resources with global demand. We understand the complexities and challenges of sourcing products from other countries. Our company is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, close to the sources. We have an extensive network of qualified manufacturers as our vendors, whom we select based on several factors, including quality, production capacity, and reputation.
